An eastern grey squirrel built a nest up against the apartment window of Kenneth Feldman and Michelle Dortignac in Brooklyn, N.Y. allowing them to take stunning close up photos of her raising three litters of pups.
In this photo she is lying on her back and nursing her babies at 32 days of age.
They have many more pictures documenting the babies as they progress from little pink hairless things to fully furred mini adults.
